Detail and Specification of Intel Arc A380

Intel Corporation is a company that is engaged in providing semiconductor chips with main products being personal computers and devices, processor, motherboard, chipset, server components, ethernet products, wireless, consumer electronics, and solid state drives.

Built on the 6 nm process, and based on the DG2 128 graphics processor, in its ACM G11 variant, the card supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. This ensures that all modern games will run on Arc A380.

Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware raytracing, variable rate shading and more, in upcoming all video games. The DG2 128 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 157 mm and 7.200 million transistors.

Has features 1024 shading units, 64 texture mapping units, and a 32 ROP. The card also has 8 raytracing acceleration. Intel has paired 6 GB G-DDR6 memory with the Arc A-380, which are connected using a 96-bit memory interface.

The GPU is operating at a frequency of 2000MHz, which can be boosted up to 2450MHz, memory is running at 1937MHz (15.5 G-bps effective).

Being a dual slot card, the Intel Arc A380 draws power from 1x 8pin power connector, with power draw rated at 75W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x H-DMI 2.1, 3x DisplayPort 2.0. Arc A380 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI Express 4,0 x8 interface.

The card’s dimensions are 222mm x 114mm x 42mm, and has features a dual-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 149 in US Dollars.
