Detail and Specification of Intel Arc A550M 2022

Detail and Specification of Intel Arc A550M 2022 – The Arc A-550M is a mobile graphics chip created by Intel, launched in 2022. Built on the 6nm process, and based on the DG2 512 graphics processor, in its ACM-G10 variant, the chip supports DirectX-12 Ultimate.

This ensures that all modern games will run on Arc A-550M. Additionally, the DirectX-12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware raytracing, variable rate shading and more, in upcoming all video games.

Detail and Specification of Intel Arc A550M 2022

The DG2 512 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 406 mm and 21.800 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Arc-A780, which uses the same GPU but has all 4097 enabled, Intel has disabled some shading units on the Arc-A550M to reach the product’s target count.

It features 2048 shading units, 128 texture mapping units, and have 64 ROP. The card also has 16 raytracing acceleration cores. Intel has paired 8GB G-DDR6 memory with the Arc-A550M, which are connected using a 128bit memory interface.

The GPU is operating at a frequency of 300MHz, which can be boosted up to 900MHz, memory is running at 1750MHz (14 G-bps effective). Its power draw is rated at 60W maximum.

This device has no display any connectivity, as it is not designed to monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop or like notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device. Arc-A550M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI Express 4,0 x16 interface.
